This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect – AI, HPC, & Lustre based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, and advanced storage architecture, supporting enterprise customers as they design and scale data-intensive workloads. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, engaging with organizations building next-generation AI/ML training platforms, large-scale analytics systems, and HPC simulation environments. The position focuses on enabling extreme performance through parallel file systems such as Lustre, ensuring GPU clusters and distributed compute environments operate without storage bottlenecks. You will help customers architect end-to-end solutions that span on-prem infrastructure and NeoCloud or AI hyperscaler GPU ecosystems. This is a highly consultative, field-facing role where deep technical expertise translates directly into measurable performance gains for mission-critical workloads. You will operate in complex enterprise environments where innovation, scalability, and throughput are key success drivers.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead advanced customer engagements focused on AI, machine learning, analytics, and high-performance computing (HPC) architecture design
  • Assess customer environments to identify performance bottlenecks across GPU clusters, data pipelines, and storage infrastructures
  • Design and present scalable architectures for AI training, distributed computing, and HPC workloads using parallel file systems such as Lustre
  • Architect end-to-end storage solutions spanning on-prem environments and NeoCloud / AI hyperscaler GPU platforms, ensuring seamless high-performance data access
  • Provide technical guidance on high-throughput storage systems, InfiniBand/RDMA networking, and GPU-integrated infrastructures
  • Support proof-of-concepts, benchmarks, demos, and pilot environments to validate performance and scalability at scale
  • Collaborate with sales and field teams to shape account strategies and drive pipeline growth in AI and HPC infrastructure opportunities
  • Contribute to RFP/RFI responses and provide insights to influence future product and platform direction

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in solutions architecture, pre-sales engineering, or customer-facing technical roles focused on AI, HPC, or high-performance data systems
  • Hands-on experience with parallel file systems (Lustre strongly preferred) or HPC storage architectures such as BeeGFS or similar technologies
  • Strong understanding of GPU-accelerated workloads and ecosystems (e.g., NVIDIA, CUDA, DGX, distributed training environments)
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent tools
  • Deep knowledge of high-performance storage systems, data throughput optimization, and large-scale distributed computing architectures
  • Familiarity with HPC networking technologies such as InfiniBand, RDMA, and high-speed Ethernet
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for enterprise stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and customer advisory skills across technical and executive audiences

Benefits:

  • Competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) ranging from $197,200 to $255,200 depending on location and experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, life, and retirement plans
  • Paid time off, leave options, and employee well-being programs
  • Equity opportunities including stock purchase plans and restricted stock units (RSUs), where applicable
  • Performance-based incentives and commission structures
  • Exposure to cutting-edge AI, HPC, and GPU-driven infrastructure projects
  • Remote flexibility with frequent travel across the United States for customer engagement
