We’re looking for a creative and highly motivated Senior Software Engineer, Salesforce Apex Development to join our team to help us migrate and maintain critical business functionality in our backend systems. In this role you will help plan and execute special projects while supporting ongoing cross-functional operations. Whether a bug fix or an awesome feature, you will own your work and deliver the most effective and scalable solutions. You will work closely with our Product Team and other cross-functional development teams to design and implement world class solutions. 

The ideal candidate for this role is technically savvy, analytical, and process-oriented. You must anticipate and embrace the opportunity to solve critical business problems in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter, flexible with performing a variety of responsibilities and experienced working with cross-functional teams. This role drives operational excellence on the team, enables teammates, and enhances the team holistically. What you’ll do

  • Update Evolve’s custom Apex code, Flows, and triggers as we migrate logic and Salesforce objects off Salesforce and into an external system including leading the deletion of defunct Apex, Flows, and objects.
  • Collaborate with and across agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in backend development tools and technologies
  • Act as a subject matter expert in all forms of Salesforce software development including custom Apex code, Flows, database triggers, permissions, events, and APIs. 
  • Drive improvements to system reliability, observability, monitoring, and testability
  • Partner directly with an Engineering and Product to clearly understand the problem being solved and provide sustainable solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from internal operations teams as well as cross functional  commercial operations teams
  • Effectively debug high complexity multi-system problems and design good-better-best solutions
  • Execute on engineering and release priorities successfully through strong technical leadership and written & verbal communication
  • Drive code reviews and collaborate with team members on coding standards, best practices, third-party integrations, and other backend development processes
  • Guide and mentor junior developers on best practices and operational excellence when working in the Salesforce platform.

What makes you a great fit

  • 5+ years of Salesforce Development Experience, including Apex, JavaScript, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs and Copado CI/CD platform
  • Experience with designing and documenting Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security best practices
  • Knowledge of integration concepts and methodologies, and experience with third-party integrations
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and committed to mentoring less experienced engineers
  • Independent and proactive at finding and fixing areas of improvement
  • Experienced with giving and receiving constructive code review feedback
  • Experienced with Agile development process
  • You have a knack for finding solutions to problems - and using a full arsenal of debugging tools
  • Experience with Git version control and repository management in Gitlab

Evolve has a flexible working environment so teammates can work remotely anywhere in the state of Colorado, in our beautiful downtown Denver office, remotely or a hybrid of both! 

U.S 

We currently are able to hire throughout the U.S except in the following states: California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New Mexico and Pennsylvania. If you live in Colorado, you can work remotely anywhere in the state, at our downtown Denver office, or a hybrid of both!

Compensation

Salary + Corporate Bonus language

Annual base salary range: $140,000 - $160,000, depending on relevant experience.  This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.
