This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer in United States.

In this role, you will lead the development of large-scale SaaS applications and cloud-based platforms, working across the full software development lifecycle to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. You will collaborate closely with product, QA, and customer-facing teams to build innovative features, optimize architectures, and elevate engineering standards. Operating in an Agile environment, you will guide technical decisions, mentor engineers, and contribute to shaping a modern tech stack. This position offers the opportunity to drive impactful initiatives, solve complex technical challenges, and influence platform strategy in a rapidly growing environment.

Accountabilities:

·         Design, develop, and deliver robust, scalable, and secure software solutions, integrating new technologies as appropriate.

·         Lead the technical execution of large-scale SaaS applications, including integrations, APIs, cloud services, microservices, and common libraries.

·         Apply Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies to ensure efficient planning, execution, and delivery of engineering initiatives.

·         Collaborate with product, QA, and operational teams to refine requirements and deliver cloud-based features that enhance user experience.

·         Review and improve code across front-end, back-end, mobile, and cloud components, ensuring quality and consistency.

·         Automate SAST/DAST testing, software composition analysis, and CI/CD processes.

·         Optimize architecture, reduce technical debt, and continuously enhance application lifecycle and performance.

·         Troubleshoot complex issues, provide escalation support, and recommend tools, processes, and technologies to advance engineering excellence.

·         Mentor team members, promote best practices, and foster a collaborative, high-trust engineering culture.

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent experience.

·         5+ years of software development experience, including deep knowledge of design patterns, data structures, TDD, backend systems, and APIs.

·         5+ years implementing SDLC best practices: coding standards, code reviews, version control, testing, and deployment.

·         Strong experience with SQL/RDBMS and relational data modeling.

·         Hands-on expertise with PHP, SQL, MySQL, React, React Native, JavaScript, APIs, Shell scripting, GitHub, AWS, and Nginx.

·         Experience building full-stack SaaS or cloud-based applications using modern architectures such as microservices and serverless.

·         Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide junior engineers and work effectively in distributed teams.

·         Experience with HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, PHI/PII, and PCI DSS environments.

·         Preferred: 7+ years of experience, knowledge of security frameworks (OWASP, CIS, SOC2, FedRAMP), and familiarity with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, OData, or OAuth2.

·         Salary range: $130,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on experience.
