Senior Software Engineer (Remote - US)

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role involves both frontend and backend development using technologies such as Vue, Laravel, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to implement responsive, accessible, and scalable applications. You will also maintain deployment pipelines, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to a shared design component library. This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy mentoring peers, improving code quality, and shaping the user experience of modern web applications.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Vue, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, Filament, and related frameworks.
• Design, build, and maintain backend services and applications using PHP, Laravel, SQL, and other technologies.
• Create, execute, and maintain unit and automated click tests to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with product and design teams during sprint ceremonies and planning sessions.
• Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor fellow engineers.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, databases, and infrastructure for efficient deployment.
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues across frontend, backend, and database components.
• Contribute to a shared design component library, ensuring consistency and accessibility.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Vue or similar frameworks (React, Svelte).
• 3+ years of experience integrating backend systems with frontend applications, preferably PHP/Laravel.
• Experience developing and maintaining frontend component libraries and translating designs into responsive code.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers.
• Experience performing code reviews and mentoring other engineers.
• Solid knowledge of accessibility best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
