As a Senior iOS Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing mobile solutions that provide deep, actionable insights for app developers while prioritizing user privacy and performance. You will work within a highly collaborative, remote-first environment, partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance SDK capabilities, optimize system reliability, and drive innovative mobile features. Your expertise will help shape the evolution of a leading behavioral data platform, enabling developers to create better user experiences and providing measurable impact on mobile product performance. The role combines systems-level programming, cross-platform development, and mentoring responsibilities, offering opportunities to influence both technical design and team practices. This position allows you to work independently while contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities:

·        Design, develop, and maintain iOS SDK features, ensuring high performance, privacy, and reliability.

·        Analyze and reverse-engineer iOS frameworks and third-party code to accurately reconstruct user session data.

·        Write cross-platform Rust code for shared crates, handling networking, testing, and performance optimization.

·        Collaborate with API and frontend teams to ensure seamless integration and minimal performance overhead.

·        Anticipate and implement support for new iOS platform-specific features, including SwiftUI.

·        Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure the iOS platform meets high-quality standards.

·        Contribute to feature ideation, leveraging AI tools and insights to enhance mobile analytics capabilities.

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

·        5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with deep systems programming knowledge.

·        Strong experience with iOS/macOS development, or equivalent systems-level expertise.

·        Familiarity with Rust and cross-platform development practices.

·        Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote or distributed environment.

·        Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and ship timely releases.

·        Strong communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback.

·        Eagerness to leverage AI for productivity and problem-solving.
