Accountabilities:

Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems supporting clearing, settlement, and financial operations
Own projects end-to-end, from ideation and design through to deployment and continuous improvement
Develop new infrastructure and services to enable additional financial products and integrations
Continuously refine and optimize existing systems to improve performance, reliability, and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives
Participate in on-call rotations, ensuring system stability and rapid incident resolution
Contribute to engineering best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing across the team

Requirements:

5+ years of experience building reliable, distributed backend systems in production environments
Strong programming skills in Go and solid experience with PostgreSQL and Kubernetes
Deep understanding of system design, distributed systems, databases, and internet architecture
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs with a focus on scalability and maintainability
Ability to take full ownership of projects and operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a high sense of responsibility
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a globally distributed team
Interest in financial systems, trading infrastructure, or market operations
Experience in startup environments and adaptability to shifting priorities
Familiarity with tools such as gRPC, Kafka, Docker, Helm, or observability platforms is a plus
Experience in clearing, settlement, or securities finance domains is advantageous
