Senior Software Engineer - Backend

<div class="p-rich_text_section">We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to drive backend system design, influence engineering best practices, and solve complex problems that have broad impact across the organization.If you are passionate about distributed systems, API design, data modeling, and building high-performing backend services, we want to talk to you.</div><div class="p-rich_text_section">In this role, you will</div><ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs using Golang, python and LLM frameworks. </li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Implement and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL for communication between front-end and back-end systems.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Design, develop, and maintain database solutions, often with technologies like PostgreSQL or other relevant databases.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Write clean, scalable, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards. </li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other engineers, throughout the software development lifecycle.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues, bottlenecks, and bugs to ensure application performance and reliability.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of scalable and robust systems.</li></ul><div class="p-rich_text_section">What we're looking for</div><ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">5+ years’ experience in software development.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Interest & embrace of AI technologies and LLMs</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Healthcare domain experience is a plus.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Self-motivated professional who takes ownership of assigned tasks and seeks guidance when necessary. </li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Agile).</li></ul><div class="p-rich_text_section">Tech Stack </div><ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Solid experience in Go programming for building back-end services and APIs.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Demonstrated ability to work across the entire application stack with a focus on backend.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Familiarity with database concepts and experience with relevant database systems.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Proficiency with version control systems, such as Git.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).</li></ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">As a remote position, the salary range for this role is:</div><div class="pay-range">$155,000—$170,000 USD</div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion">Who we are  Transcarent is the One Place for Health and Careᵀᴹ, bringing medical, pharmacy, and point solutions together with the WayFindingᵀᴹ experience, the first and only generative AI-powered health and care platform for health consumers.
