Accountabilities:

Architect, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using modern technologies and cloud infrastructure
Own the full lifecycle of features, from concept and design to deployment and optimization
Develop intuitive and high-performance frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and system improvements
Design and implement internal tooling, automation workflows, and agent-based development systems
Optimize application performance across frontend, backend, and AI-driven pipelines
Contribute to defining best practices for AI-native software development and engineering workflows
Collaborate cross-functionally in an asynchronous environment and eventually mentor or lead a small engineering team

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong backend development expertise (e.g., Scala, Java, Ruby, or C#)
Proficiency in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React
Proven experience building and scaling SaaS products in production environments
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools and agent-based development workflows
Strong system design skills with the ability to architect scalable, maintainable solutions
Ability to balance AI-assisted development with traditional coding approaches effectively
Excellent written communication skills and comfort working in remote, asynchronous teams
Experience or strong interest in building internal developer tools, AI workflows, or automation systems is a plus
