Senior Software Engineer

This role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver high-quality software solutions across both front-end and back-end systems. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications using modern frameworks and technologies, building reusable components, and optimizing deployment pipelines. The position involves collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to turn concepts into responsive, scalable, and accessible software. You will also troubleshoot production issues, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools. This is a hands-on role that balances technical expertise with strategic input, in a fast-paced environment where innovation and quality are highly valued.

• Accountabilities
• Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using Vue, TailwindCSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
• Build and maintain back-end services and applications using PHP, Laravel, SQL, and associated frameworks.
• Write and maintain unit and automated tests to ensure code quality.
• Develop and maintain components for a shared design system or component library.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and code reviews.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across front-end, back-end, and database systems.
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and database environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing mentorship and guidance to fellow engineers.

• Requirements
• 5+ years of experience with Vue, React, Svelte, or similar front-end frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience integrating back-end services with front-end applications, preferably using PHP/Laravel.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining frontend component libraries.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, UX best practices, and accessibility standards.
• Experience performing code reviews and mentoring peers.
• Proficiency debugging complex issues across full-stack applications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, and engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Preferred: experience building or maintaining design systems and familiarity with TailwindCSS.
