Basic Function
The Senior Software Engineer at Lumin Digital plays a critical role in designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise web applications and native apps for iOS and Android. Working within an agile SCRUM methodology, this position collaborates closely with product management and team members to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate is a full stack engineer with a passion for leveraging the latest technologies to create impactful user experiences.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities, Experience:
Design, develop, document, and modify enterprise web and mobile applications, ensuring scalability and performance.
Write well-designed, testable, efficient, and maintainable code.
Work in a SCRUM environment, contributing to a collaborative and iterative development process.
Troubleshoot, debug, and fix errors in software systems, ensuring reliability in production operations.
Support production systems and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
Develop and maintain native applications for iOS and Android, including managing build and release processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with business objectives.
Useful Experience: Microservice Architecture, Node.js, Angular, Docker, AWS
Perform other duties as assigned.

30 Days: Gain familiarity with Lumin Digital’s technology stack, tools, and development processes. Begin contributing to ongoing projects.
90 Days: Take ownership of specific development tasks, collaborating with the team to deliver key features and enhancements.
1 Year: Lead initiatives to improve application performance, scalability, and user experience, becoming a key contributor to Lumin Digital’s technology strategy.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong object-oriented programming skills in TypeScript, C#, Java, Swift, or similar languages.
Proficiency in relational databases using SQL and ORM technologies.
Experience with iOS and Android development, including build management and release processes (XCode, Android Studio, Fastlane).
Ability to troubleshoot and debug full-stack applications effectively.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to collaborative problem-solving.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, relevant work experience may be used in place of formal education.
Travel: Minimal, generally 12 days or less per year, ~2X team get togethers a year
