This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in the United States.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who specializes in ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of critical systems in cloud and on-premises environments. You will collaborate with development teams to design, deploy, and maintain resilient infrastructure while automating processes and monitoring system health. The position involves solving complex operational challenges, leading reliability initiatives, and improving deployment pipelines to deliver high-quality services. You will implement best practices for observability, incident response, and capacity planning, ensuring uptime and system performance meet organizational objectives. The role is highly collaborative, requiring strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence across multiple teams. Your work will directly impact system reliability, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
· Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
· Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents to minimize system downtime and performance issues.
· Collaborate with software development teams to improve deployment pipelines, CI/CD processes, and system automation.
· Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability tools to proactively identify issues.
· Develop and enforce reliability, performance, and security best practices.
· Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and root cause analysis for complex systems.
· Mentor team members, share expertise, and contribute to cross-functional knowledge sharing.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
· Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
· Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
· Experience with CI/CD tools, infrastructure as code, and automation frameworks.
· Solid understanding of monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident management.
· Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
· Ability to work effectively in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
