<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Senior Scientific Director - Medical Affairs</strong></p><p>A leading medical communications company experiencing growth within its medical affairs communications division is looking for a senior scientific director to lead key accounts, grow and mentor the scientific team, and provide strategic account oversight. Opportunity to help shape department and grow the team and business. Current therapeutic focus is oncology.</p><p>Individuals must have strong work experience in medical communications, directing client strategy, staff mentoring / management with the ability to lead scientific teams in content creation and partner with our VPs / SVPs in business development. </p><p>Responsibilities: </p><ul><li>Manage and grow scientific team responsible for delivery of a full range of strategic medical communications / Peer-to-peer programs </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure the creation of high quality, accurate medical / scientific content with ability to expand management responsibilities as team grows </li><li>Embed team with clients / accounts and grow business beyond current state</li></ul><ul><li>Identify and develop strategic and tactical business recommendations relevant to client strategy and marketplace needs </li></ul><ul><li>Develop / lead / facilitate key strategy workshops </li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrate a high level of comfort articulating scientific and therapeutic information for multiple clients / therapeutic categories </li></ul><ul><li>Foster innovation and collaboration across Nucleus Global to position agency as leader in medical affairs medical communications</li></ul><p>Additional Requirements: </p><ul><li>PhD, PharmD, MD with 8+ years of relevant medical communications experience, with an in-depth understanding of medical affairs medical communications</li></ul><ul><li>Track record of successful scientific leadership across several clients/therapeutic categories </li></ul><ul><li>US and / or global launch experience</li><li>Oncology experience a plus</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li></ul><ul><li>Experience managing staff / direct reports </li></ul><p>In addition to a competitive package, we are known for our friendly and informal working environment.
