About the Role

We’re looking for a driven, experienced sales professional to join our team and capitalize on OrthoFi’s significant market opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, outbound-driven sales environment and can make an immediate impact. You’ll own a defined territory spanning the South and Southeast regions, including Colorado, building and managing a robust pipeline while closing new business within an addressable market of approximately 10,000 U.S. orthodontic practices.

Success in this role requires strong outbound sales execution, territory management discipline, and the ability to sell financial outcomes and technology-enabled managed services. You’ll develop a deep understanding of OrthoFi’s platform and clearly articulate its financial, operational, and growth benefits to orthodontic practices. This role reports to the Sales Director and partners closely with Marketing and Customer Success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive top-line revenue growth by consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets within an assigned geographic territory (South/Southeast, including Colorado).
  • Own the full sales cycle with a strong emphasis on outbound prospecting, pipeline creation, and closing new logo accounts.
  • Effectively manage a mix of outbound and inbound opportunities, building and prioritizing pipeline activity within your territory.
  • Engage key decision-makers, including doctors, practice managers, and other team members, guiding them through a value-based sales process and ensuring a smooth transition to the account management team.
  • Sell financial outcomes and technology-enabled managed services, clearly connecting OrthoFi’s solutions to revenue growth, cash flow optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Apply a strategic, consultative sales approach to uncover customer needs and align solutions to their business and financial goals.
  • Develop and execute territory-specific sales plans to maximize market coverage and performance.
  • Accurately forecast monthly sales and track progress against targets using CRM and pipeline reporting tools.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and demos, both in-person and virtually, tailored to practice owners and important stakeholders.
  • Continuously refine messaging and sales strategies by evaluating past performance and providing feedback on materials and positioning.
  • Act as a strategic voice of the customer, sharing market and buyer insights with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams.
  • Partner closely with onboarding and account management to ensure a seamless, high-quality customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including pipeline activity, territory notes, and customer interactions.
  • Complete required administrative responsibilities, including travel and expense reporting, in accordance with company policies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7–10 years of successful B2B territory management and outbound sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong ability to engage with customers and internal teams in a professional and collaborative manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and business correspondence.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to build value-based sales presentations.
  • Proven ability to lead meetings, deliver compelling sales presentations, and drive product demand.
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and key performance metrics.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to travel overnight (approximately 20-50%) and operate a motor vehicle for extended periods when needed.

What’s in it for you:

  • Full medical, dental, and vision benefits with 100% employer paid options and buy up plans
  • Flexible PTO
  • Employer HSA contribution
  • 9 Company Paid holidays
  • 401(k) match, 3% after 90 days of employment
  • Supportive culture with one-of-a-kind growth opportunities
  • Option to work from home or in the office
  • Paid Parental Leave as well as a two-week "ease-back" program that enables parents to return part-time at full pay
  • Company and team outings
