This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Quality Engineer in the United States.
In this role, you will help shape how high-scale, AI-driven software is delivered with speed, reliability, and confidence. You will sit at the center of engineering quality, building and evolving automation systems that enable rapid deployment without sacrificing stability or compliance. This is a highly technical, hands-on engineering role where your work directly impacts how safely and efficiently complex AI and data platforms reach production. You will design and strengthen testing frameworks, improve CI/CD reliability, and expand automated coverage across critical system paths. The environment is fast-moving, collaborative, and deeply technical, with a strong focus on scalability, governance, and modern cloud-native architecture. You will also help bring AI-assisted testing approaches into practice, shaping how quality engineering evolves in an AI-first development culture.
Accountabilities- Own and evolve a large-scale test automation framework supporting CI/CD pipelines and multi-stage software delivery workflows
- Expand automated test coverage across critical system areas such as RBAC, audit trails, policy enforcement, data lineage, and integrations
- Strengthen quality gates and ensure reliable release cycles in high-velocity engineering environments
- Design and implement scalable quality engineering practices embedded across multiple engineering teams
- Build and maintain infrastructure and tooling to support cloud-native and Kubernetes-based testing environments
- Introduce and operationalize AI-assisted testing approaches, including test generation and intelligent defect detection
- Improve visibility into software quality through dashboards, coverage mapping, and risk-based reporting for leadership
- Drive reduction of production defects in compliance-sensitive and mission-critical system components
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Engineering, or Test Automation in complex, distributed systems environments
- Strong experience building and owning end-to-end automation frameworks and CI/CD testing pipelines
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience testing compliance-sensitive systems where correctness impacts audits, governance, or regulatory outcomes
- Proven ability to influence engineering practices across multiple teams without direct managerial authority
- Experience with modern test frameworks and automation tools, including BDD or Cucumber-style libraries (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of integration testing, contract testing, and stateful workflow validation is a plus
- Exposure to AI-assisted QA approaches, MLOps systems, or data platforms is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical risk into clear engineering priorities
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement
Benefits
- Competitive annual salary range of 145,000 to 175,000 USD
- Equity participation and potential performance-based bonuses
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
- 401(k) retirement savings plan
- Wellness stipends and employee support programs
- Flexible remote-first work environment
- Paid time off and company holidays
