This role sits at the intersection of quality engineering, automation, and product delivery within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Working closely with engineering, product, and design teams, you will define and execute testing strategies that support rapid, iterative development cycles. Accountabilities- Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of test strategies across multiple product areas in an Agile development environment.
- Build, extend, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to improve QA efficiency and product reliability.
- Identify, track, and prioritize bugs and product issues based on severity, frequency, and customer impact.
- Monitor and improve product pipeline health, ensuring issues are quickly identified and resolved to avoid delivery bottlenecks.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure high-quality releases and clear acceptance criteria.
- Own and maintain QA documentation, ensuring processes, tools, and testing practices are well-documented and accessible.
- Manage QA backlog in JIRA, ensuring timely resolution of tickets and adherence to SLAs.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on testing practices and automation approaches.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize QA workflows and reduce friction in delivery pipelines.
- Stay current with AI tools and emerging QA technologies, incorporating them into testing and automation strategies where applicable.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Engineering or Quality Engineering roles within Agile development teams.
- Strong experience designing, writing, and executing manual and automated test cases for frontend and backend systems.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C#, with additional experience in Python considered a plus.
- Experience building, extending, or maintaining automation frameworks and QA tooling.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA best practices in fast-paced environments.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and design teams.
- Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in QA initiatives.
