About the Role
We are looking for a Senior QA Analyst with expertise in the Property and Casualty insurance domain to ensure the quality and reliability of our insurance products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance processes, policies, and regulations, along with a proven track record of conducting thorough testing procedures. This role will report onto the Quality Engineering (QE) Manager and will be responsible for creating and executing test cases, assisting in implementing best practices, and supporting Mission’s overall strategic vision and strategy in technology. The candidate will be responsible for identifying areas of risk and supporting the QE Manager in implementing solutions. This role will also be a point of contact for knowledge regarding the QA processes, execution and best practices.
What You'll Do
- Review and Analyze business requirements for completeness, risk, and usability.
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements.
- Evaluate and create test cases for automation and regression pack.
- Conduct functional, non-functional, regression, and integration testing to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance adherence
- Actively participate in scrum ceremonies with value input to the team.
- Document test results, track defects, and provide timely feedback to facilitate the resolution of identified issues.
- Assist with implementing processes and best-in-class testing practices associated with a wide variety of applications and uses.
- Support offshore QA teams and provide necessary guidance
- Assist in communicating with third-party team members across multiple geographies, vendors, and skillsets leveraging our partners to their full potential.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders across all internal business units and external partners and articulate risks, defects, issues, and dependencies.
- Utilize delivery methods such as Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc… to deliver high quality products for our end users.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent from an accredited four-year college in computer science, information science, information technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of related experience in a hands-on quality analyst role.
- 5+ years of related experience utilizing tools such as Azure Devops, JIRA, ALM, etc… for test case management and execution.
- 5+ years of experience in the P&C insurance industry and regulatory environment.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the year.
- Self-driven and ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Preferred Qualification
- 5+ years working with offshore teams.
- Familiarity or knowledge of code-based automation frameworks.
- Experience with Dyad ALIS, Origami, Federato, InsTec / Insurity Sure Commercial / Quick Solver as a policy administration system.
- Experience with modular and microservice based architecture.
- Experience with Underwriting Workbenches and Automated Submission ingestion.

Additional Information
This is a remote position. Planned, in-office activities may be required on occasion (typically 2-4x per year).
