Senior Project Manager (Remote - US)

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of a portfolio of large-scale electric distribution projects. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety objectives while managing client expectations and project risks. This role includes engaging with clients, mentoring junior project managers, and contributing to business development efforts such as proposal preparation and contract negotiations. You will coordinate resources, monitor performance, and implement strategic solutions to optimize project outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to manage complex, multi-office, and multi-discipline programs while driving efficiency and innovation across utility-scale projects. You will play a key role in shaping the future of power delivery while fostering strong client relationships and team collaboration.

Accountabilities:
• Lead the planning, execution, and management of power delivery projects including transmission, distribution, and substations.
• Define project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, vendor selection, and progress billing points.
• Manage day-to-day project activities, including client communications, team coordination, and issue resolution.
• Identify and manage project risks, scope changes, and contract change orders.
• Analyze project performance, resource utilization, and financial performance to achieve project objectives.
• Mentor and oversee other project managers, conducting project and portfolio reviews.
• Participate in business development through project scoping, proposal preparation, interviews, negotiations, and contract support.

Requirements

 • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the power delivery industry.
• Bachelor of Science in engineering from an accredited institution (preferred but not required).
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred but not required.
• Strong financial management skills and experience managing large, multi-discipline programs or projects.
• In-depth knowledge of various power delivery projects including transmission, substations, and distribution.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multi-office or multi-project portfolios.
