Rockstar is recruiting for a mission-driven fintech company dedicated to expanding equity in education by providing affordable student loans to high-achieving students. The client is a fast-growing, well-funded organization that addresses financial barriers to educational attainment by offering non-cosigned loans based on academic performance rather than credit scores. The team is passionate about increasing access to education and empowering students to achieve success through responsible borrowing.

Mission

The client’s mission is to expand equity in education by providing affordable student loans to high-achieving students. Financial constraints are a significant blocker to educational attainment, contributing to the annual dropout of four million college students. Founded to help solve this issue, the client provides non-cosigned loans based on academic performance rather than credit scores. The organization believes that hard work, good grades, and responsible borrowing are all indicators of a student’s ability to graduate and achieve success. In this role, the Senior Program Manager will help grow both the mission and the business to increase access to education.

The client is seeking a proactive and highly organized Senior Program Manager to help drive the growth, efficiency, and compliance of student and consumer lending programs. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Operations, this role will be instrumental in launching and managing new initiatives, strengthening partner relationships, overseeing program documentation, and improving operational processes.
