Position Summary

Every clinical trial runs on source data, and for most of the industry's history that data lived on paper, got transcribed later, and quietly generated errors and delays along the way. CRIO's eSource platform captures protocol-driven data directly at the point of patient interaction, catches mistakes before they happen, and gives sponsors and CROs real-time visibility into their sites. The results: 40% higher enrollment, 40% fewer protocol deviations, and 40% faster study startup.

eSource is the core of what we do and the product the rest of our platform is built around. You'll own it.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about and excels at product management with proven leadership in driving strategic product initiatives.

The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, hands-on, data-driven, and passionate about achieving strong outcomes for our customers. You will have a strong track record of defining products that delight users and generate exceptional returns on investments, with demonstrated ability to influence product strategy and mentor other product managers. In addition, the ideal candidate has extensive experience working with customers, business leaders, and development teams within an Agile scrum process, and can effectively bridge the gap between business vision and technical execution at scale.

  • Advanced Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage complex backlogs spanning multiple teams, ensuring meaningful, realistic, and attainable work that aligns with strategic priorities and maximizes business value.
  • Enterprise Project Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and document development activities for large-scale, high-visibility, cross-team projects with significant organizational impact, adapting to varying scopes and competing priorities.
  • Executive Communication: Facilitate clear communication of product strategy, sprint progress, releases, issues, and relevant information to executive leadership and key stakeholders. Present product roadmaps and business cases to senior leadership.
  • Value Optimization: Evaluate activities across multiple teams for maximum business value and make strategic decisions during sprint planning and release planning that balance short-term delivery with long-term product health.
  • Senior Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with steering committees, executive sponsors, enterprise customers, functional managers, and cross-functional leadership teams.
  • Team Empowerment and Mentorship: Empower and mentor scrum teams and junior product managers with clear goals and context, driving sustainable maximum velocity and addressing concerns proactively. Build product management capability across the organization.
  • Agile Development Mastery: Collaborate with development teams to commit backlog items to sprints, lead post-live retrospectives to identify improvement areas, and drive continuous improvement in delivery processes.
  • Product Value Advocacy: Champion the value of product releases at both the team and organizational level, ensuring stakeholder alignment on objectives, scope, and deliverables. Translate technical capabilities into business value for diverse audiences.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage product analytics, customer feedback, and market research to inform product decisions and measure success. Establish and track key product metrics and KPIs.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate product risks, technical debt, and dependencies across teams. Make informed trade-off decisions that balance innovation, technical excellence, and business needs.
