9amHealth is redefining cardiometabolic care with a first of its kind, whole body approach to preventing and treating diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, and hypertension. Founded in 2021 and backed by top tier investors including 7Wire Ventures, Human Capital, Founders Fund, and Define Ventures, we deliver custom care plans, fast medication delivery, and expert guidance that empower patients to live healthier lives.
We believe AI enabled health services will be among the biggest winners of this technology shift, and we’re building accordingly. We already use AI across the product: member facing agents, clinical copilots, automated triage, intelligent care workflows. Our goal is to bring the cost of healthcare down dramatically while providing an incredible experience for both our members and clinicians. AI isn’t a feature on our roadmap, it’s how we think about every feature on our roadmap.
We’re a Series B company with over 200 people, growing fast. Our product and engineering team is distributed across the US and Austria, and we’re scaling it significantly.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and evolve our AI Care Experience—how care is delivered to members through software.
This role requires deep experience in healthcare or care delivery environments, as you will directly shape how clinical workflows, decision-making, and care pathways are translated into product and AI systems.
You will lead a product team and be responsible for the end-to-end member journey, using AI to make care more personalized, proactive, and scalable, while maintaining strong clinical quality, safety, and trust.
You will operate at the intersection of consumer product, AI systems, and clinical care, helping turn healthcare delivery into high-quality, software-driven experiences.
Drive the evolution of the member journey into a seamless, AI first care experience
Identify where AI can reduce friction, improve clarity, and drive behavior change
Balance automation with human care to ensure strong clinical outcomes and member trust
Partner closely with clinical teams to understand care pathways, decision logic, and real world workflows
Translate these into product experiences, AI behavior, and system logic
Help define how care is delivered through software, not just supported by it
Ship experiences powered by:
conversational interfaces and agents
personalized recommendations and nudges
intelligent workflows and automation
Think in systems across the full care journey, not isolated features
Determine when AI should act vs when to escalate to clinicians
Design for clinical safety, appropriateness, and trust in all member interactions
Contribute to prompt design and iteration for key care interactions
Help define and run evaluation frameworks (evals) to measure AI quality, safety, and effectiveness
Partner with engineering and data teams to continuously improve system performance
Own metrics across engagement, retention, and clinical adherence
Use experimentation and data to improve both UX and AI system behavior
Own roadmap and prioritization for the AI Care Experience
Lead cross-functional execution across product, design, engineering, and clinical teams
Balance rapid iteration with long-term product quality, safety, and scalability
5+ years of Product Management experience in consumer or SaaS products
Direct experience in healthcare or care delivery environments (required)
Examples: digital health, care delivery organizations, clinical workflows, patient-facing health products
Strong track record owning end to end user or patient experiences
Experience working on or alongside AI powered products
Proven ability to work closely with clinicians and translate care pathways and decision logic into product systems
Strong product instincts around UX, behavior change, and engagement in high stakes environments
Comfort operating in fast moving, ambiguous environments
Experience building AI native or AI first healthcare products
Familiarity with prompting, evals, or AI system iteration
Experience designing human in the loop systems in clinical settings
Startup or high growth environment experience
Compensation for this role is targeted up to a base salary of $180,000, depending on experience and location.
