Senior Product Manager – Talent Management Solutions

As a Product Manager within Aderant’s Talent Management Solutions group, you will play a key role in shaping and evolving a product family that supports the world’s leading law firms in managing and developing their talent. You will define and advance the roadmap for both our established on-premises and cloud-hosted offerings as well as our next-generation multi-tenant SaaS solution. This role requires a product leader who thrives on collaborating with customers, engineering, UX, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that drive measurable value and exceptional client experiences.

You will translate market insight into product direction, validate concepts with clients, create detailed requirements, and guide engineering through delivery. You will also partner closely with program management and go-to-market teams to ensure successful launches and adoption across our customer base. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic thinking, executional rigor, and a willingness to lean into adjacent processes to help teams deliver high-quality, timely releases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full product lifecycle for the Talent Management Solutions portfolio, including vision, strategy, and roadmap creation for both on-premises/cloud-hosted offerings and the multi-tenant SaaS solution.

  • Engage directly with our legal clients and internal stakeholders—in collaboration with UX—to validate concepts, refine features, and shape product direction based on practical workflow needs.

  • Develop clear, actionable product requirements that reflect business value, technical feasibility, and optimal user experience.

  • Partner with engineering to deliver roadmap capabilities, ensuring alignment, transparency, and continuous improvement in product quality.

  • Collaborate with Support, Client Services, Professional Services, and Sales to engage with clients as needed to understand client needs, develop requirements and identify opportunities to enhance satisfaction and adoption.

  • Work closely with program management and marketing to define and drive go-to-market plans, supporting product positioning, enablement, and successful release execution.

  • Support strategic initiatives including customer adoption programs, migration planning from existing on-premises/cloud-hosted deployments, integration efforts, and new capability rollouts.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Support, Finance, Legal, Operations, Engineering, QA, UX, and Client Services to ensure cohesive, successful product delivery and market impact.

  • Champion the evolution toward modern, cloud-based capabilities, ensuring consistent value delivery for existing customers while supporting adoption of multi-tenant SaaS offerings.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of software product management experience, ideally in talent management, HR technology, or legal-industry software.

  • Proven experience translating business needs into technical requirements, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • History of collaborating closely with engineering teams to deliver impactful releases within an agile development environment.

  • Experience building AI-enabled product capabilities, with a strong desire to lean into AI by implementing AI product capabilities that provide client value leveraging AI for optimizing personal day to day tasks.

  • Outstanding communication skills, including written documentation, verbal communication, and presenting to internal and external audiences.

  • Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS platforms, cloud solution architecture, and modern product delivery practices.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% to customer and non-customer sites.
