About the role


As the Senior Product Manager for Shipium's Integrations Platform and Management, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our integration capabilities. This includes integrations with small parcel and freight carriers, as well as third-party services that enhance our platform’s functionality. Once carriers are integrated into the platform, you will develop tools and features for Operations personnel to monitor, manage, and optimize these integrations efficiently. Your role is critical in ensuring that our integrations are scalable, reliable, and aligned with the company's growth strategy. This is a highly technical position, requiring close collaboration with engineering and the ability to answer technical questions independently. Senior Product Manager at Shipium is responsible for managing a product independently, creating the vision for their product, and managing the roadmap to execute and achieve that vision. The Sr. Product Manager owns assigned products, guiding ideas across the company from concept to launch. They connect product functionality and goals to the company’s strategic objectives, work with stakeholders at all levels, and positively influence product outcomes.


What you'll do

  • Product Strategy: Own the product vision, roadmap, and outcomes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Operations Tooling: Build tools for Operations teams to monitor, manage, and optimize carrier integrations.
  • Customer Insight: Use data and user feedback to uncover needs, validate concepts, and drive improvements.
  • User Experience: Define requirements and advocate for usable, consistent, and effective UX designs.
  • Product Execution: Create clear PRDs, deliver actionable requirements, and measure product performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Balance feedback, identify synergies, and influence prioritization across teams.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior Product Managers, contributing to team growth and success.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven ability to deliver scalable integrations and address technical challenges independently.
  • Operations Tools: Experience designing tools to help Operations teams manage and optimize integrations.
  • Data Fluency: Use data to inform decisions, measure success, and communicate progress effectively.
  • User-Centric Design: Advocate for consistent, usable, and intuitive product designs.
  • Influence and Leadership: Balance stakeholder needs, influence leadership, and align resources effectively.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, managing complex products and integrations.
  • Experience working with small parcel and freight carriers.
  • Previous experience at a SaaS company or in a startup environment.
  • Strong experience with integrations, APIs, and technical ecosystems in supply chain or logistics.
  • Familiarity with modern integration tools, technologies, and platforms.
  • Proven ability to own a product line, create a product vision, and deliver against it.
  • Experience building tools or internal features for Operations or similar teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
