About Cassi:
Cassi is the coordination layer for the people who manage assets in the physical world. We start with property managers, tying their teams, schedules, tasks, and routines into a single system powered by an intelligence layer that knows the assets inside and out and puts real AI to work across the operation. We closed our Series A in six days. Investors, customers, and the team are all in, and we're moving accordingly.
The Role:
We’re hiring our first full-time Senior Product Designer. This is not a “make screens in Figma” role. You’ll help own how the product works. You’ll take messy, real-world workflows—texts, calls, emails, vendor coordination, scheduling—and turn them into simple, intuitive systems that people rely on every day.
You’ll design across:
Web
iOS / Android
Multiple user types (property managers, operators, vendors)
And you’ll help define how AI shows up in the product in a way that feels natural, useful, and differentiated.
What You’ll Own:
Turn complex, real-world operations into simple, elegant product experiences
Design end-to-end flows across web and mobile, not just isolated screens
Build for multiple user types and permissions across a shared system
Partner deeply with product and engineering to ship quickly and iterate continuously
Help define and evolve Cassi’s product design language and brand through the product
Introduce and scale a design system that supports speed without sacrificing quality
Use AI tools to accelerate and shape design, prototyping, and iteration cycles
What We’re Looking For:
Builder mindset: You’ve built 0→1 products or features from scratch. You’re comfortable operating without full specs or structure. You move fast, make decisions, and iterate
Product thinking > pure design: You think in systems, not just screens. You understand tradeoffs between UX, engineering, and speed. You care about outcomes, not just polish
Strong execution across platforms: You’ve designed for both web and mobile (iOS/Android), with a mobile first mindset. You understand the differences and design accordingly. You’re comfortable owning full flows end-to-end
AI-native curiosity: You actively use tools like Claude Code or similar. You understand how AI is changing design -> Dev handoff. You use AI to speed up iteration, not replace thinking
High agency: You don’t wait for direction—you create it. You push for clarity where none exists. You’re comfortable being the first and setting the bar
What You’ve Done:
Designed and shipped 0→1 product experiences that are live and used by customers
Owned complex, multi-step workflows end-to-end and made them meaningfully simpler
Worked side-by-side with engineers to ship quickly, make tradeoffs, and iterate in production
Built or scaled a design system that improved speed and consistency across the product
Made product decisions informed by real usage, not just design best practices
Operated in ambiguity, defining problems and driving solutions without clear direction
Bonus:
Experience designing workflow-heavy products
Experience with operational tools, marketplaces, or coordination systems
Comfort with prototyping and working close to code
How We Work:
Small team, high ownership
Product and engineering are tightly coupled
We ship quickly and learn from real usage
Compensation Range
$150,000 - 200,000 based on experience
Equity in early-stage business (first 15 employees)
Full benefits package
Location
New York, NY (Manhattan) — hybrid/in office
