This Field Pre-Sales Engineer will cover enterprise customers in Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota and provide technical expertise throughout our sales process. Enterprise networking experience is of paramount importance in this search and candidates should be located within the territory they cover. The Impact You’ll MakeThe Field Pre-Sales Engineer will be on the front lines helping our Strategic and Enterprise Account Executives to close six and seven figure deals with the largest enterprises in the world. You will help Fortune 100 companies to transform their network operations, and you will make a massive impact in NetBrain’s growth as a company. What You’ll Do<ul><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">You will lead technical discovery and solution development while performing various pre-sales demos of NetBrain software both on-site and online for prospective customers consisting of network engineers, network managers, and key business stakeholders.</li><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Partner with Account Executives to create and refine strategies to support customers and sales opportunities with a focus on shaping customer initiatives, demonstrating business impact and achieving the technical win.</li><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Provide technical sales leadership and oversight in the NetBrain Assisted Proof of Concept process (POC) via on-site and remote meetings with customers, proving NetBrain’s functionality and value in the customer’s environment.</li><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Perform deep analysis of customers' network environment by capturing IT management pain points, shaping requirements, understanding their impact and proposing the most suitable solutions and describing the associated value.</li><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Provide technical leadership on network technologies and deployments to internal NetBrain teams including pre-sales, post-sales, advanced services, marketing, and product management.</li><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Make recommendations on potential product improvements to the product development team according to customer feedback.</li><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Train and assist customers on using the many features of NetBrain to manage their network.</li><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Act as the technical point of contact to prospective customers via on-line meetings, phone or email.</li><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Any other responsibilities assigned.</li></ul> Who You Are<ul><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification.</li><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">8+ years of relevant experience.</li><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Extensive knowledge of major vendors’ networking products configurations, operations, and deployments.</li><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience implementing and troubleshooting dynamic routing protocols, QOS, Security, MPLS, Multicast, etc.</li><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Excellent verbal and written communicator with strong technical presentation skills and the ability to manage key business stakeholders in very large enterprises.</li><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">You are a fast learner of highly complex technologies.</li><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Previous Network Operations and/or NOC experience is preferred, not required.</li><li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Located in Illinois, Michigan or Minnesota and able to travel up to 50% within your territory.</li></ul> What We OfferOur comprehensive compensation package is vital in how we recognize our people for the impact they make on us reaching our goals as a company.For this role, the estimated on-target earnings range is between $195,000 - $215,000. The actual OTE may vary based on a range of factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.The range listed above is a guideline, and may be modified.
