This role is a high-impact consulting position focused on supporting healthcare organizations in the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of PACS/CPACS systems. You will act as a trusted advisor across client projects, combining technical expertise, workflow analysis, and project leadership to ensure imaging systems are effectively integrated into clinical and operational environments. The position involves close collaboration with end users, project leaders, and technical teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance system performance, and improve clinical workflows. You will also contribute to documentation, risk tracking, and solution design while ensuring alignment with client objectives. This is a dynamic, client-facing role requiring adaptability across different healthcare environments and project settings. It offers the opportunity to directly improve healthcare delivery through technology and process optimization.
Accountabilities:- Provide PACS/CPACS consulting services across healthcare client engagements, supporting system implementation, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting activities.
- Analyze clinical and operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend system or process improvements.
- Collaborate with project leadership teams to document requirements, manage risks and issues, and ensure alignment on project deliverables.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and end users, ensuring clear communication, training support, and effective adoption of systems.
- Lead or participate in client meetings, project status updates, and coordination of ongoing work efforts.
- Mentor client teams and junior consultants where applicable, providing guidance on system build strategies and best practices.
- Support project-specific deliverables including documentation, reporting, and any additional client-driven requirements outlined in statements of work.
Requirements
- Several years of experience working with PACS/CPACS systems in a clinical or healthcare IT environment.
- Experience with Epic integration is strongly preferred, along with relevant Epic certifications when applicable.
- Background in healthcare IT consulting, project management, or clinical systems implementation is highly desirable.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management experience is a strong advantage for leadership-focused roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical and workflow issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clinical users, technical teams, and stakeholders.
- Highly adaptable, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in fast-paced and evolving client environments.
- Strong professional integrity, with a collaborative mindset and ability to build trust across multidisciplinary teams.
