Senior Network Administrator

This role sits at the core of enterprise network operations, ensuring secure, high-performing, and resilient infrastructure across mission-critical environments. You will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing complex network systems supporting multiple secure enclaves and operational sites. The position involves hands-on administration of network devices, proactive monitoring, and rapid incident response to ensure service continuity. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and security teams to implement robust networking solutions aligned with strict compliance standards. Working in a highly structured and security-focused environment, you will also contribute to lifecycle management, patching, and continuous improvement of network performance and reliability. This is a key technical role where precision, security awareness, and deep networking expertise directly impact operational success.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will manage end-to-end network infrastructure operations, ensuring stability, security, and performance across all environments. You will design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot network systems while supporting continuous improvements and compliance requirements.

Design, install, configure, maintain, and support network infrastructure across multiple environments and secure sites.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot outages, and ensure optimal system availability and reliability.
Manage lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and device administration.
Implement and enforce network security policies, ensuring compliance with established standards and protocols.
Coordinate change requests, documentation, and maintenance activities, including ASI events and system updates.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to support network design, optimization, and incident resolution.

Requirements:

You bring extensive hands-on experience in network administration within complex, secure, and enterprise environments. You are highly skilled in networking technologies and security frameworks, with strong troubleshooting and communication abilities.

8+ years of experience in network administration or similar infrastructure-focused roles.
Valid CCNP certification and Security+ certification.
Strong expertise in routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, and Cisco technologies.
Experience with enterprise networking tools, monitoring systems, and performance optimization solutions.
Strong understanding of security frameworks such as STIGs, NIST, DoD standards, and ITIL practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-security, mission-critical environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
U.S. citizenship and eligibility for government clearance required.
