Who We Are

At Trility Consulting®, we’ve built a strong, remote-work culture where people thrive, grow, and support each other – earning us Great Place to Work® Certification. Headquartered in Central Iowa, we embrace flexible schedules and collaboration across geographically distributed teams serving clients from all corners of the United States and globally.

We seek team members with the grit necessary to forge paths where none previously existed, to get back up when circumstances knock them down, to adapt to the changing needs of the client even when it is uncomfortable, and to deliver on our commitments. Candidates must respect and value people, recognize that over-communication is barely good enough, thrive on solving complex problems, have a passion for building teams, and know that delivering what a client actually values is more important than their own predispositions. They understand value proposition, love delivering value, and take pride in learning the expansive and ever-changing business of clients. Candidates are self-motivated and relentlessly working to become more today than they were yesterday.

What You Will Do

Trility Consulting is seeking a Microsoft Fabric Consultant who brings a full-stack mindset to modern data platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable operating in Power BI and beyond — someone who understands how the entire data ecosystem comes together and can help clients fully leverage the capabilities of Microsoft Fabric.

You’ll work alongside a Power BI-focused consultant on the same engagement, helping to design, implement, and optimize the broader platform that supports reporting, data integration, automation, and governance. This is a hands-on consulting role where you’ll both build and guide — identifying opportunities to unlock more value from the tools the client has already invested in.

This is a remote position with 1099 and W2 options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable data solutions within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem
  • Strong experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI
  • Stand up and configure Fabric services to support data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and reporting
  • Develop and optimize semantic models that support both reporting and broader data consumption needs
  • Establish and guide best practices for workspace organization, capacity management, and workload distribution
  • Design and implement secure data access patterns, including integration between Snowflake and Fabric
  • Evaluate and support Snowflake-to-Fabric connectivity, mirroring strategies, and performance optimization
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Fabric capabilities such as data agents, automation tooling, and DevOps integration
  • Build and support automation solutions, including replacements for legacy processes (e.g., Oracle BI agents, scheduled workflows)
  • Partner with client teams to guide platform adoption and increase internal capability through collaborative sessions
  • Contribute to the development of standards, reusable patterns, and migration playbooks for long-term sustainability

What You Bring
  • Experience working across the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem beyond just Power BI
  • Ability to stand up and configure Fabric services, including data integration and platform components
  • Strong understanding of modern data architecture principles and how reporting fits into the broader ecosystem
  • Experience integrating Snowflake with downstream tools like Fabric and optimizing data flow and performance
  • Knowledge of security models, including cross-platform access patterns and governance considerations
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools within the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Power Automate or Fabric-native capabilities)
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts, including deployment pipelines and environment promotion strategies
  • Ability to identify opportunities to better leverage existing platform investments and drive additional value
  • Comfortable working in client-facing environments and guiding technical conversations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical solutions
