This role spans a wide range of marketing disciplines - from website development and SEO/GEO to lead generation recommendation, social media, and content creation. The Marketing Executive brings both creative instincts and analytical rigor to everything they produce, and is a reliable execution partner to Marketing leadership on strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate, design, and execute custom web pages and landing pages
- Redesign existing ClearStar webpages to align with current branding guidelines
- Develop engaging visual content (graphics, videos, etc.) for website use
- Optimize website content for both traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences utilizing SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) best practices.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on website analytics
- Marketing Technology & Innovation
- Utilize AI-powered tools and emerging marketing technologies to improve content creation, campaign execution, reporting, and overall team efficiency.
- Research and recommend new marketing tools, processes, and best practices that support business growth.
- Lead Generation & Demand Generation
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new opportunities, channels, and marketing tactics to increase awareness, engagement, and lead generation results.
- Develop, launch, manage, and optimize multi-channel lead generation campaigns across digital platforms.
- Create and manage landing pages, forms, CTAs, and conversion paths to maximize lead capture.
- Collaborate with Sales to ensure lead generation efforts are aligned with target accounts, buyer personas, and revenue goals.
- Monitor campaign performance and conversion metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and improved ROI.
- Conduct A/B testing and implement continuous improvements to increase engagement, conversion rates, and lead quality.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and audience behaviors to identify new demand generation opportunities.
- Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms
- Create engaging content and manage post scheduling
- Monitor social media conversations and respond to inquiries in a timely, on-brand manner
- Write and edit marketing copy for social media, email newsletters, and other marketing materials
- Develop visual content (graphics, videos, etc.) tailored for social media channels
- Manage the content calendar and distribution strategy
- Collaborate with partners to source and secure third-party content for ClearStar use
- Executive Marketing Support
- Serve as a strategic contributor by identifying new marketing opportunities, process improvements, and innovative ideas that support company growth objectives.
- Provide support to the Director of Marketing and VP of Sales & Marketing with coordination and execution of marketing and content-related tasks, including materials preparation for executive meetings
- Ensure that strategic initiatives led by Marketing management are carried out on time and within budget by coordinating all necessary content production efforts

Brand Awareness & Engagement
- Social media followers, engagement rates, and shares are trending upward
- SEO rankings and AI/LLM citations are trending upward
Lead Generation & Campaign Performance
- Website traffic, landing page visits, and qualified lead volume are growing
- Campaign KPIs (CTR, open rates, ROI) are being tracked and reported consistently
- A/B testing is in place and driving measurable optimization
Content Effectiveness
- Content calendar is active, on-brand, and running on schedule
- Blog, video, and social content engagement metrics are improving
- Email subscriber growth and content download rates are increasing
Marketing and Sales Alignment
- Marketing-generated leads are contributing meaningfully to the sales pipeline
- Collaboration with Sales is consistent and producing measurable results
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in a Marketing Specialist, Generalist, Manager, or similar role
- Thorough understanding of both traditional and digital marketing disciplines, including SEO/GEO, social media, email, and content marketing
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience utilizing LLM’s/AI for assistance with content development, visual graphics and marketing efficiency
- Strong graphic design sensibility with a keen eye for visual quality and brand consistency
- Experience with web analytics platforms and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress
- Experience with Martech platforms, including HubSpot
- Basic video editing skills and familiarity with webinar platforms (e.g., GoToWebinar)
- Demonstrable experience with marketing data analytics
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Commercial awareness paired with a creative, solutions-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional marketing certification (e.g., American Marketing Association)
- Experience in background screening, Drug Testing, HR technology, or B2B SaaS marketing

- Reliable, secure hih-speed internet connection; cable or fiber (minimum 75 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload) preferred
- Dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free, with a strong wireless or wired Ethernet connection
