Senior Manager, Workday Security & Governance

We have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to assume the Senior Manager, Workday Security & Governance role within the HR organization. The organization offers opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of a best-in-class HR Operations and Technology organization.

Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in Workday Security Configuration and Administration including experience with Workday Business Process/Reporting/HCM/Complex Security configuration
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical environment with strong ability to configure Workday
  • HR/Security knowledge in a global workspace
  • Analytical and able to effectively apply logic to solve problems
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demands
  • Ability to take accountability and resolve issues independently
  • Ability to follow documented processes to ensure adherence for audit purposes
  • Ability to lead projects/requests and drive to required outcome
  • Experience with security and compliance audits required
  • Experience as a team lead or supervisor is preferred
  • Must be a motivated, self-starter who is able to work independently in a high volume fast paced environment with limited supervision and direction

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and analyze Workday security issues with HR business which may require functional skills in WD business process and reporting to identify and resolve issues
  • Partner with various HRT Leads and cross functional teams to gather requirements, recommend, test and deliver security related configuration needed for new functionality and change requests
  • Deep knowledge of Workday security configuration to recommend, streamline and simplify security roles and groups
  • Back up Security and Governance Lead as needed to respond to all audits and ensure compliance with WD governance model
  • Create, configure, test and maintain all types of Workday security groups
  • Update security groups: business process and domain security policies as needed
  • Assign role and user based security groups to users
  • Execute WD Security role assignment audits, analyze results and address any issues
  • Document all security processes as needed including any security changes and enhancements
  • Provide recommendations on security updates/enhancements to drive the efficiency of security model
  • Lead discussions with cross functional teams and key stakeholders as needed
  • Provide guidance, direction and oversight to Security Analyst and other team Security team resources
  • Perform other duties as assigned
