This role is a key leadership position responsible for driving global quality excellence across both Quality Management Systems and Supplier Quality Engineering functions. You will ensure robust compliance with international standards while strengthening supplier performance across a complex, global supply chain. Acting as both a strategic leader and technical expert, you will oversee audits, CAPA systems, and continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact product reliability and operational efficiency. The position requires close collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and R&D teams to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle. You will also lead and develop a team of quality professionals while influencing quality strategy at the executive level. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment with significant global exposure.
Accountabilities:- Develop, implement, and maintain a compliant Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards
- Lead Supplier Quality Engineering activities including supplier qualification, audits, performance monitoring, and corrective actions
- Manage non-conformance, CAPA, and change control systems to ensure process integrity and continuous improvement
- Oversee internal and external quality audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and R&D to integrate quality across the product lifecycle
- Design and deliver quality system and supplier quality training programs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean and quality methodologies such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, and Six Sigma
- Monitor, analyze, and report key quality performance metrics to senior leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality professionals
- Stay current with evolving global quality standards, regulations, and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical field (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems and Supplier Quality Engineering in manufacturing or technology environments
- 5+ years of leadership or managerial experience in quality functions
- Strong expertise in ISO 9001; AS9100 or TL9000 experience is a plus
- Proven experience in supplier auditing, qualification, and performance management
- Strong knowledge of quality methodologies including FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, Lean, and Six Sigma
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to influence and collaborate across global, cross-functional teams
- Professional certifications such as ASQ CQM/OE, CQE, or Lead Auditor are highly desirable
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (20–30%)
