What You Will Do:
Our Strategic Account Manager will actively manage key strategic accounts across the Americas. This will involve developing client relationships, developing sales strategies and setting mutual goals and objectives for the Fire Suppression Portfolio. This includes working with end-users and other key business leaders to promote product features and benefits. This role requires alignment with cross-functional teams to effectively manage select accounts. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
Strategic Accounts Manager Responsibilities:
Maintaining assigned key accounts and providing ongoing client support.
Developing and implementing client relationship management strategies.
Communicating with key clients to monitor client expectations and satisfaction.
Identifying new business leads and contacting prospective key clients to promote products and services.
Establishing efficient communication channels and liaising between key clients and internal departments.
Recommending and implementing improvements to the management of key client relationships.
Handling client queries and finding innovative solutions for complex problems.
Monitoring sales performance metrics and facilitating timely interventions.
Performing recordkeeping, as well as preparing sales forecasts and reports.
How You Will Do It:
Analyze new business opportunities, develop sales plans and execute planned action steps in order to acquire new business in line with Company strategies and growth objectives. (utilizing SFDC and PowerBI).
Present products to customers to accomplish customer acceptance of the value-added proposition attached to our products and services and achieve sale closures on terms that are mutually satisfactory to the customer and Johnson Controls.
Develop annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly plans detailing concepts and actions necessary to achieve business growth opportunities consistent with overall growth objectives.
Coordinate,, in conjunction with field sales new and repeat sales through distribution to ensure 100% customer satisfaction with our order fulfillment process.
Build and maintain relationships with accounts at all levels to ensure account retention.
What We Look For:
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related Sales Management experience.
Minimum 10 years’ sales experience in Fire Suppression, Fire Alarm or Fire Protection industry. Experience in similar industries such as low-voltage, plumbing, etc.).
Strong technical aptitude.
Excellent written and verbal communication (usage of MS Office Tools – Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Able to present in front of large audiences.
Strong leadership characteristics.
Organization and time management skills.
Customer-oriented approach.
Anticipated travel expected up to 40%.
