This role manages and oversees all aspects of revenue accounting functions including revenue recognition, revenue systems and revenue related controls. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies and ensure the revenue function can support the company’s growth. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in revenue accounting, technical accounting knowledge, be an exceptional problem solver, and have a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.The role requires an individual with excellent business, communication, and analytical skills, enabling collaboration with various functions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, desire to learn complex processes and systems, and experienced in partnering with colleagues to drive value and positive change across the organization. The candidate should have a strong understanding of the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting. We take into account the cost of labor for each position in various markets across the US. The base salary for this position spans $150,000 - $180,000 and represents the minimum in our lowest geographic region to a maximum in our highest geographic region. The salary that we offer to a new employee within this range is based on their location within the US, their relevant job-related skills, and experience. At Human Interest, base salary is one component of the overall Total Rewards package. Depending on the position, additional components such as equity may be offered.
