This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Program Management Office based in the United States.

This role leads enterprise-wide program planning, governance, and execution across strategic and technology-enabled initiatives.
You will help translate organizational priorities into actionable roadmaps, investment decisions, and measurable outcomes.
The position works closely with business leaders, Project Managers, Product, Engineering, IT, Finance, Operations, and executive stakeholders.
You will provide visibility into portfolio health, budgets, risks, dependencies, resource capacity, and delivery performance.
The role also drives consistent PMO practices, reporting standards, governance frameworks, and delivery methodologies across initiatives.
As a people leader, you will coach and mentor Project Managers while strengthening accountability, collaboration, and delivery excellence.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead program planning, roadmap coordination, governance, and execution for strategic enterprise initiatives, including technology platforms and related third-party integrations.
  • Evaluate incoming initiatives, organizational demand, resource requirements, and business priorities to support effective program intake, prioritization, and investment decisions.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to develop business cases, recommendations, and roadmaps that align initiatives with organizational strategy and objectives.
  • Manage cross-project risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, escalations, and resource constraints, recommending practical resolution strategies when priorities or capacity conflict.
  • Facilitate governance meetings, program reviews, executive decision forums, and stakeholder communications to maintain transparency, alignment, and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain executive-ready dashboards, KPIs, reporting, presentations, and governance materials that provide clear visibility into portfolio health, delivery performance, and business outcomes.
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, timelines, scope, resource capacity, and value realization to support informed prioritization and investment decisions.
  • Analyze program performance, trends, risks, and outcomes to identify opportunities for improved delivery effectiveness and operational performance.
  • Coordinate organizational change readiness, adoption planning, stakeholder engagement, and operational alignment to support successful implementation of initiatives.
  • Promote consistent use of PMO methodologies, templates, governance standards, reporting practices, portfolio management tools, and delivery processes.
  • Develop and optimize program management tools, technology solutions, dashboards, automation, and reporting capabilities to improve operational efficiency and data quality.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Project Managers, supporting their professional development and strengthening program management capabilities.
  • Monitor project execution and help Project Managers address delivery risks, resource constraints, dependencies, and execution challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement across PMO processes, governance practices, reporting standards, financial management, workflows, and technology-enabled delivery.
  • Maintain accurate program data, reporting, and governance documentation while supporting broader PMO maturity and best-practice initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in project management, program management, PMO, strategic initiatives, product operations, platform delivery, or business operations.
  • 3+ years of experience leading enterprise projects, programs, cross-functional strategic initiatives, or technology-enabled business transformation efforts.
  • Demonstrated experience with program governance, prioritization, enterprise planning, executive reporting, financial tracking, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring Project Managers and coordinating complex cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Strong knowledge of program management methodologies, PMO best practices, governance frameworks, reporting tools, dashboards, portfolio management, and executive presentations.
  • Strong analytical, financial, organizational, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders while managing competing priorities, dependencies, and organizational demands.
  • PMP or equivalent project/program management certification is preferred.
  • Additional certifications such as PfMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Lean Six Sigma, or Prosci are valued.
  • Experience with HR technology, recruiting systems, applicant tracking systems, talent acquisition platforms, or third-party recruiting integrations is preferred.
  • Experience with SaaS or enterprise technology environments, workflow automation, PMO platforms, reporting solutions, or product operations is advantageous.
  • Experience supporting enterprise strategic planning, organizational transformation, or platform implementation initiatives is a plus.
