Position Overview:
The Senior Manager of Planning is a critical member of the operations team, reporting directly to the VP of Operations. They are responsible for overseeing and optimizing forecasting and planning processes, ensuring our global supply chain operates efficiently and effectively. They will strategically manage demand planning, production forecasting and inventory levels, maintaining best-in-class customer service and financial efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. They will need to excel at building strong relationships across the organization, as the role works closely with sales, sales operations, finance, product, engineering and external partners. The role requires an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented and possesses exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities:
路 Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply and demand planning processes for operational performance excellence.
路 Monitor sales trends, market conditions and customer forecasts to identify supply chain risk mitigation opportunities.
路 Develop and maintain factory production and sales demand forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels and stock availability.
路 Monitor and analyze customer forecasting and ordering behavior to ensure accuracy of the demand forecast and alignment to supply planning strategies.
路 Develop KPI reporting and analytics to provide insights into demand planning performance.
路 Develop and implement end-to-end strategies that improve inventory turns ratios while supporting strong customer service levels.
路 Enhance excess and obsolescence risk mitigation strategies, reporting visibility and recommendations as an integral part of the inventory reserves process.
路 Support cross-functional alignment of operational NPI processes to de-risk and accelerate product launch schedules.
路 Proactive identification of risk and problem solving, while maintaining clear, concise and frequent communication across stakeholders.
Experience/Requirements:
路 A minimum of 5 years of experience in a demand planning/forecasting role
路 A deep understanding of inventory management best practices and procedures
路 Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
路 The capability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
路 Excellent written and verbal communication tailorable to all seniority levels
路 Strong leadership and team-management

Education:
路 Bachelor鈥檚 Degree and/or Master鈥檚 Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other related fields.
Salary Range: $131,841 - $158,652
