Senior Manager of IT and Security

• Lead, mentor, and develop a world-class IT and security team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring scalability, availability, and performance.
• Establish and enforce information security policies, procedures, and best practices while managing risk and responding to incidents.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and vendor relationships, including negotiating technology contracts and conducting security audits for PCI, SOC2, ISO27001, and SOX compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, support technology initiatives, and integrate IT and physical security systems.
• Drive continuous improvement in IT operations, infrastructure management, and crisis response capabilities.

• 7+ years of experience managing IT and security teams in complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, including cloud services, Okta, G Suite, JAMF, and related tools.
• Demonstrated ability to develop IT strategy, oversee infrastructure, and implement security policies.
• High learning agility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up or dynamic development environment.
• Experience with vendor management, technology contract negotiation, and compliance auditing.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team development skills, fostering collaboration across remote and cross-functional teams.
• Highly desirable: project management experience, physical security system expertise, risk management, crisis operations, and threat intelligence analysis.
