This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Imagine Pediatrics. We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Credentialing & Enrollment in United States.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the operations of a credentialing department supporting a multi-specialty telehealth group across multiple markets. You will manage licensure, Medicaid enrollment, and health plan credentialing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering timely, accurate results. This position requires strong operational oversight, the ability to manage a high-performing team, and the skills to liaise effectively with external agencies and partners. Your expertise will help maintain seamless provider onboarding, uphold quality standards, and support a mission-driven healthcare environment focused on delivering exceptional care.

Accountabilities

  • Lead and supervise credentialing staff, ensuring timely and accurate processing of provider licensure, Medicaid enrollment, and health plan credentialing requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day credentialing operations including primary source verifications, provider expirables, credentialing file preparation, and compliance with delegated credentialing programs.
  • Facilitate and present provider credentialing files to the Credentialing Committee for review and approval.
  • Act as a liaison with state licensure boards, Medicaid agencies, and health plan credentialing teams to resolve application deficiencies.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on credentialing status, trends, and performance against SLAs.
  • Develop departmental policies, workflows, and training materials to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Oversee configuration, maintenance, and accuracy of the credentialing platform, including data integrity, reporting, and task management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years’ experience in a credentialing role, with at least five years in a people management capacity.
  • Proven track record in managing credentialing functions using platforms such as Verifiable and Athena.
  • CPCS or CPMSM certification strongly preferred (or working towards certification).
  • In-depth knowledge of licensure and Medicaid guidelines across multiple markets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse internal stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Passion for improving healthcare access and outcomes for children with complex medical needs.
