This role is a key leadership position within a dynamic Legal, Compliance, and Quality organization focused on building scalable operational infrastructure in a highly regulated environment. The position blends legal operations, compliance execution, and process optimization, with responsibility for strengthening systems that support contracting, vendor governance, privacy operations, and enterprise risk management. It plays a critical role in enabling business growth while ensuring strong regulatory adherence and operational discipline. The role requires a hands-on operator who can design, implement, and continuously improve legal and compliance workflows, systems, and controls. It also involves close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders across legal, finance, IT, and business teams. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape compliance operations strategy and build efficient, technology-enabled processes at scale.


Accountabilities:
  • Support the design and execution of legal, compliance, privacy, and quality operations strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage and optimize contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes, including workflows, templates, approvals, reporting, and system integrations.
  • Oversee vendor due diligence programs, risk assessments, and ongoing third-party monitoring, including KPI tracking and analysis.
  • Administer litigation holds, document preservation processes, legal calendaring, and regulatory deadline tracking.
  • Build and improve scalable systems, workflows, and operational processes supporting compliance and legal functions.
  • Drive operational KPIs, reporting frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives across compliance and legal operations.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives including ESG, privacy operations, and enterprise risk management programs.
  • Identify and implement automation and process enhancements to improve efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
  • Ensure strong documentation, records management, and compliance tracking across all legal operations activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; JD or MBA strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in legal operations, compliance operations, contract management, or related roles in regulated industries (healthcare, life sciences, or similar).
  • Strong experience with contract lifecycle management systems (Ironclad experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to design and improve legal workflows, operational processes, and system integrations.
  • Experience managing vendor due diligence and third-party risk management programs.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks, privacy regulations, and regulated industry standards (e.g., GCP, anti-corruption, privacy laws).
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically while managing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
