Senior Loan Processor

WHO YOU ARE...

A Sr. Mortgage Loan Processor is in charge of gathering the necessary paperwork and documentation required for someone to apply for a loan. Their duties include carefully reviewing mortgage applications to confirm that all essential fields have been filled out, organizing additional application materials and submitting applications on schedule.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING…

• Thorough review of the loan file to determine needed documentation 
• Timely follow-up with borrowers to obtain documentation 
• Coordination with the Loan Officer to obtain and communicate critical information 
• Coordination of all parties to the transaction 
• Completion of any duties required to complete a loan package for submission 
• Concise and accurate input of data and interface with vender software 
• Submit a complete and accurate file for underwriting 
• Timely clearing of underwriting conditions
• Complete any remaining duties requested by management or underwriting

IDEALLY, YOU’LL HAVE...

• Minimum 5 to7 years of recent experience as an end-to-end mortgage loan processor, specifically working with: 

• • Conventional conforming / jumbo loans 
  • FHA, VA, USDA loans 
  • HELOCs and second mortgages
  • 1x and 2x close construction loans
  • Jumbo
  • DSCR
  • HELOC
  • FHA and VA assumptions (helpful but not required) 
     
• Bilingual in Spanish

• Deep understanding of loan programs, investor guidelines, and documentation requirements 

• Demonstrated ability to interpret and satisfy complex underwriting conditions 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage borrower and stakeholder expectations 

• Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset 

• Familiarity with broker, correspondent lending environments 

• Experience working with LOS platforms (e.g., Meridian Link) and third-party vendor integrations 

• Exceptional attention to detail 

• Effective communicator via phone and email

Compensation Range: $60,000-$65,000
