Senior Loan Officer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Loan Officer based in the United States.

This is a high-impact origination role focused on both traditional mortgage products and next-generation renovation lending solutions. You will work directly with homeowners, contractors, builders, and real estate agents to structure financing that unlocks property value and drives successful renovation projects. The role blends production-focused lending with relationship-driven business development, requiring a strong field presence and the ability to build long-term referral ecosystems. You will operate in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where your ability to originate deals and grow partnerships directly shapes your success. Alongside conventional loan products such as FHA, VA, and conventional mortgages, you will also expand into specialized renovation lending that is redefining how homeowners finance improvements. Accountabilities:

Manage end-to-end loan origination across a diverse portfolio of mortgage products, including conventional, government-backed, non-QM, HELOC, personal loans, and renovation financing solutions.

Source and originate self-generated leads while actively expanding referral channels across contractors, builders, and real estate professionals.
Educate homeowners on renovation lending solutions and guide them through complex financing structures tied to after-renovation value.
Develop and maintain long-term referral partnerships that generate consistent and compounding deal flow.
Spend significant time in the field (50%+) driving business development and strengthening partner relationships.
Execute structured sales and referral strategies to grow monthly production and expand market reach.
Structure, analyze, and present mortgage solutions aligned with borrower goals and lending guidelines.

Requirements:

Bring hands-on mortgage origination experience with a strong ability to manage relationships, structure deals, and operate in a production-driven environment.

2+ years of mortgage origination experience with a proven track record in loan production.
Active NMLS license required.
Experience or familiarity with renovation or construction lending strongly preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure complex loan scenarios.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong discipline in planning, execution, and pipeline management.
Ability to thrive in a field-driven, self-sourced business development environment.
