Our mission is to transform the practice of law, and we're looking for a senior litigation paralegal eager to join us in this exciting journey!</p><p>This position will work on a wide variety of complex matters, working side by side with our attorneys during all stages of litigation, from the inception of a matter through discovery, trial, post-trial findings, and appeals</p><p>This is a 100% remote role but knowledge of California laws is highly preferred.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Compile and organize documents/binders to assist in discovery, motions practice, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.</li><li>Manage calendaring and internal case files and monitor court docket for assigned cases.</li><li>Bluebook, cite check, create ToC’s &amp; ToA’s, and proofread various court filings and legal memoranda.</li><li>Perform factual research and prepare written summaries of compiled information.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors and litigation support regarding all aspects of eDiscovery.</li><li>Prepare deposition notices and subpoenas; organize, maintain, and prepare witness interview or deposition materials, exhibits, and summaries.</li><li>Assist with drafting pleadings and motions, including gathering and organizing exhibits and e-filing all court documents and coordinating service of process.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience:</strong></p><p>Required:</p><ul><li>5+ years of complex litigation paralegal experience.</li><li>A bachelor's degree or associate’s degree, or completion of a paralegal program of study.</li><li>Experience with litigation support software and review platforms; Relativity and Adobe Acrobat experience ideal.</li><li>Familiarity with electronic filing in federal and state courts and creating ToC’s and ToA’s.</li><li>Strong cite-checking, proofreading, and blue booking skills.</li><li>Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.</li><li>Willingness and flexibility to work overtime, occasionally on short notice.</li></ul><p>Competencies:</p><ul><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details.</li><li>Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and all levels of personnel and handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment, while demonstrating initiative, diplomacy and tact when under pressure.</li><li>Comfortable working in a fully-remote environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation:</strong><br>The annualized base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 + eligibility for an annual production performance.
