This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Integrations Engineer in United States.

This role sits at the heart of integration engineering, enabling seamless connectivity across business-critical systems within a fast-growing, product-led environment.
You will design, build, and maintain scalable integrations that power operational efficiency across product, finance, operations, and customer-facing systems.
The position plays a key role in modernizing integration architecture using iPaaS platforms, APIs, and cloud-native technologies.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into reliable, scalable technical solutions.
A strong focus is placed on modular design, observability, automation, and continuous improvement across the integration lifecycle.
This is a high-impact engineering role where your work directly improves system reliability, scalability, and overall business performance.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, build, document, and maintain scalable and modular integrations using iPaaS tools such as Workato, following engineering best practices for maintainability and performance.
  • Develop reusable SDKs and integration components to support scalable connectivity across SaaS and proprietary systems.
  • Partner with engineering teams to transition custom-coded integrations into iPaaS-based solutions where appropriate.
  • Define technical architecture, testing strategies, observability frameworks, and deployment approaches for integration solutions.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into clear system designs, estimates, and implementation plans.
  • Build and maintain robust integration monitoring, logging, and error-handling mechanisms to ensure system reliability.
  • Continuously improve existing integrations by identifying bottlenecks, refactoring legacy systems, and enhancing scalability.
  • Collaborate with Product, Finance, Operations, and Engineering teams to deliver end-to-end integration solutions.
  • Review pull requests, enforce engineering standards, and mentor junior engineers to improve overall team capability.
  • Evaluate system trade-offs and drive decisions that optimize scalability, cost efficiency, and security.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software integration engineering using iPaaS platforms, with hands-on experience in Workato preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience with API development and integration using Ruby, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
  • Strong experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including serverless architectures and messaging systems (SNS/SQS).
  • Deep understanding of REST, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs, along with data formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, and EDI.
  • Experience designing observability, monitoring, and automated testing frameworks for integration systems.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain scalable, reusable integration architectures in complex environments.
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Intacct, Workday, and ServiceNow.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Familiarity with agile development practices and product-led engineering environments.
  • Ability to build, host, and maintain API endpoints within iPaaS or cloud environments.

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary range: 135,000 USD – 165,000 USD annually.
  • Equity participation as part of the total compensation package.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Generous paid time off and flexible remote work environment within the United States.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Parental and caregiver leave programs.
  • Annual performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Strong focus on professional growth in a modern, product-driven engineering culture.
