This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior HRIS Analyst based in the United States.

This temporary/contract opportunity is designed for an experienced HR technology professional who can turn complex business needs into scalable HRIS solutions.
You’ll play a key role in optimizing HR systems, with a strong focus on Workday administration, configuration, reporting, and continuous improvement.
The role connects HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT, ensuring systems and processes work together accurately and efficiently.
You’ll use data and technical expertise to improve reporting, governance, automation, user experience, and operational effectiveness.
As a senior contributor, you’ll help shape standards, solve complex system challenges, and guide stakeholders through technology and process decisions.
You’ll work in a collaborative, transformation-focused environment where adaptability, sound judgment, and strong communication are highly valued.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the design, configuration, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of HRIS functionality to address evolving business and operational requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions, workflows, reporting models, and efficient HR processes.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure effective integration and alignment across the HR technology ecosystem.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for Workday and broader HRIS capabilities, applying best practices to improve system utilization, user experience, and adoption.
  • Identify opportunities for process and system improvements by analyzing business needs, data, trends, and operational challenges.
  • Design and deliver advanced HR reporting and analytics that support business and HR decision-making.
  • Maintain strong data accuracy, integrity, governance, and consistency across HR systems.
  • Develop complex reporting solutions and automation that improve efficiency and the generation of actionable insights.
  • Support system testing, releases, implementation activities, and continuous improvement cycles.
  • Investigate complex issues spanning multiple systems, data sources, and business processes, using sound judgment to develop effective solutions.
  • Establish new processes, frameworks, standards, and approaches when existing solutions do not adequately meet business needs.
  • Communicate complex technical and system concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and influence decisions through data and practical recommendations.
  • Provide guidance and informal leadership to colleagues on HRIS practices, standards, and solution approaches.
  • Support organizational transformation by helping teams adopt new systems, processes, and ways of working.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HRIS experience, including hands-on Workday administration, configuration, support, and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and systems, including integrations between HR, Payroll, Finance, and related business functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable HRIS solutions and process improvements.
  • Advanced reporting and data analysis capabilities, with a strong understanding of data integrity, governance, and quality.
  • Experience supporting system testing, releases, implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex issues involving multiple systems and variables and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills, particularly when addressing ambiguous or evolving requirements.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting HR technology transformation, organizational change, and the adoption of new processes or systems.
  • Ability to work independently while building effective partnerships across HR functions and business teams.
  • Workday certification is preferred.
