We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven Senior Government Proposal Manager to join our client's team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the development of proposals for government contracts. Your expertise will be key in ensuring that proposals are competitive, compliant, and effectively address government needs. Working closely with various internal teams, you will leverage your knowledge of government procurement processes to secure new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the proposal development process from start to finish, including strategy development, content creation, submission, and post-submission activities.
  • Analyze government solicitation documents and provide guidance on compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create tailored responses that meet government standards and objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage proposal schedules, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.
  • Review and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and quality.
  • Prepare and facilitate proposal kick-off meetings, strategy sessions, and debriefs.
  • Stay updated on government contracting trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within government agencies.
  • Support business development efforts through research and analysis of potential opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in proposal management, preferably with government contracts.
  • Thorough understanding of government procurement processes and compliance regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex documents.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in proposal management software and MS Office applications.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a proposal environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
