This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer in North America.

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining advanced web-based tools that power complex operational workflows. You will work on a distributed team delivering 3D design and CAD applications, integrating backend services, and enabling cloud-based processing for internal users. This role balances technical innovation with operational impact, ensuring software is robust, scalable, and delivers meaningful data insights. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to streamline processes, optimize throughput, and support a high-performing, remote-first engineering organization. Your work will directly impact the efficiency, quality, and scalability of mission-critical internal tools.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain full-stack web applications supporting a suite of 3D design interactions.
  • Integrate and orchestrate 3D tools across operational workflows, matching capabilities with supply chain event triggers.
  • Coordinate submission, storage, and distribution of CAD outputs to cloud-based manufacturing systems.
  • Build and maintain internal APIs, endpoints, and microservices.
  • Instrument tools to capture rich data insights for forecasting, planning, and operational optimization.
  • Integrate with third-party APIs to transmit and retrieve 3D data outputs.
  • Collaborate with product management and operations engineering teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Solve technical problems of moderate to high complexity while maintaining code quality and best practices.
  • Identify technical debt and propose actionable solutions to improve software performance, security, and maintainability.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in backend development using TypeScript or Node.js.
  • Strong proficiency with backend systems, frameworks, and technologies such as NestJS, Next.js, Node.js, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience building full-stack applications with modern frontend frameworks like React/Redux.
  • Ability to understand complex business operations and design software solutions to address bottlenecks and workflow challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate technical, architectural, and organizational challenges, with actionable solutions.
  • Experience owning projects from concept to production, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly agile, remote-first environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.

Bonus / Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with TypeScript across full-stack development.
  • Familiarity with 3D file formats, cloud-based storage, and 3D tool interactions.
  • Exposure to operations or supply chain software solutions.
  • Positive attitude, strong sense of humor, and ability to collaborate in a fun, team-oriented environment.
