This role offers the opportunity to lead full-stack development initiatives for complex, data-intensive applications in a high-impact, fast-paced environment. As a Director-Level Engineer, you will design and build scalable solutions, mentor other engineers, and influence architectural decisions across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, design, and business stakeholders—to deliver intuitive user interfaces and robust back-end systems. The role requires balancing multiple initiatives while driving innovation, maintaining high-quality standards, and adopting emerging technologies. This position offers the chance to shape technical direction, optimize performance, and enhance user experiences for sophisticated applications in the investment technology space.

  • Accountabilities
  • Design, develop, and enhance full-stack features and custom UI components using modern frameworks and tools.
  • Lead architectural decisions and implement scalable, high-availability solutions across front-end and back-end systems.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into production-ready applications.
  • Build high-quality front-end applications using React, TypeScript, Material Design, and modern component libraries.
  • Develop, test, and deploy applications within AWS environments using Docker and microservices architectures.
  • Implement security best practices, token-based authentication, and modern deployment workflows.
  • Mentor and guide engineering teams, foster collaboration, and promote engineering excellence.
  • Conduct code reviews, implement automated testing, and ensure continuous improvement across the stack.

  • Requirements
  • 10+ years of full-stack development experience in high-scale or data-intensive environments.
  • Expert proficiency with React/Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, TurboRepo, and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, Docker, and AWS cloud services.
  • Strong UI/UX design awareness and ability to collaborate with design teams to deliver intuitive applications.
  • Proficiency in Git, enterprise version control workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like Cypress, Vitest, or Testcontainers.
  • Familiarity with modern security concepts, authentication, and authorization best practices.
  • Preferred: experience with Figma, ReactFlow, Redux, microservices decomposition, SAFe Agile methodology, and AI-assisted development workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

  • Benefits
  • Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus.
  • Flexible remote or hybrid work arrangements within the United States.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Professional development opportunities, including access to learning resources and conferences.
  • Generous paid time off and company holidays.
  • Collaborative, high-performing engineering culture with mentorship and growth opportunities.
