Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (backend-leaning, ~80% backend / 20%
frontend) to help design, build, and scale our generative AI-powered enterprise
applications. You’ll play a key role in architecting backend services, ensuring performance
and reliability, and contributing to frontend features that deliver great user experiences.
This is a hands-on, senior-level role where you’ll also mentor engineers and collaborate
closely with product managers, data scientists, and designers.

Responsibilities

•  Architect, design, and build scalable backend systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Develop APIs and services in Python and Nest.js/Node.js, integrating with databases, LLM providers, and external systems.
• Contribute to frontend development in TypeScript/JavaScript, ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Write efficient, maintainable SQL queries and design database schemas for application features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable AI-driven solutions.
• Ensure high code quality via testing, code reviews, and best practices.
• Participate in system design discussions and help set technical direction.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows, with a basic understanding of Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a strong backend focus.
• Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Nest.js/Node.js.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong SQL skills (schema design, query optimization).
• Basic knowledge of Azure DevOps (pipelines, workflows).

Bonus

• Work in ET timezone is a bonus but not required
•  Experience working with LLM providers and prompt engineering.
•  Familiarity with the Docling Python package for document parsing/processing.
•  Previous experience in AI/ML environments, especially with productionizing AI workloads.
