Location: USA ONLY, Remote
Salary Range: $125,000 – $175,000 per year

Develop User Interfaces: Build and maintain responsive, accessible, and visually consistent UIs using React and MUI.
Leverage MUI’s Full Capabilities: Utilize MUI’s component library, theming, sx prop, and styled() API to create reusable and customizable components.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the CEO, CTO, and engineers to translate requirements into functional interfaces.
Implement AI Tools: Integrate AI-assisted development tools to streamline coding tasks, refactoring, and documentation.
Ensure Quality and Performance: Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and optimize application performance for various devices and screen sizes.
Application Review: Submit your resume and a portfolio showcasing your work with React and MUI.
Initial Interview: A 30-minute conversation to discuss your experience and interest in the role.
Technical Assessment: A take-home assignment focused on building a UI component using MUI, emphasizing theming and styling.
Technical Interview: A 45-minute discussion with our engineering leadership to delve deeper into your technical skills and cultural fit.
Important Note: We embrace the use of AI in software engineering and believe that is is a true productivity enhancer, however during interviews we will not tolerate the use of any AI tools. We want to get to know you and make a human connection. We reserve the right to terminate an interview should we believe a candidate is using an AI tool.
Citizenship: U.S. citizen or green card holder residing in the United States.
Experience: 7+ years in front-end development with a strong focus on React and TypeScript.
MUI Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in Material-UI, including theming, the sx prop, and the styled() API.
Design Sensibility: A keen eye for design and attention to detail in implementing user interfaces.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Back-End Knowledge: Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL.
Cloud Experience: Understanding of AWS-based application development and deployment.
Security Awareness: Experience working in FedRAMP-authorized environments or with similar security frameworks.
AI Integration: Proven track record of using AI tools like Cursor to enhance development workflows.
