Role & Goal:

  • Design and develop scalable and robust software solutions
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes
  • Ensure the security and performance of software applications
  • Remote Work with/ Hybrid Opportunity - We are a remote team with a hybrid office structure for Nashville area team members.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and trainings - These are generally at 9 am or 3 pm CT but may vary based on events and team availability. 
  • As an early-stage company, roles may change, and expand over time. You will have an opportunity to participate in lots of new initiatives and projects. 
  • Attend and engage during 1-2 annual team meetings. These are generally 3 days, including travel. 


About You:

  • The “must haves”
    • Mission and Value alignment
    • We are only hiring in Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zones to keep our team within 1 hour plus or minus from our ‘hub’ in Nashville. 
    • 4-5 years of experience in front-end software development
    • Proficiency with TypeScript or JavaScript
    • Strong experience in React (We use Next.js)
    • Strong UI/UX instincts and ability to implement high-quality interfaces with or without formal design assets
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • The “nice to haves”
    • Experience working with the rest of our stack: NestJS, Next.js, DocumentDB and PostgresQL
    • ​​Experience building on a cloud platform like AWS
    • Comfortable with full-stack development; while this role will primarily be front-end, there will inevitably be some full-stack crossover.
    • Nashville, TN or Indianapolis, IN proximity - Home service, franchise, or real estate experience
    • Familiar with home service software like CRMs, FSMs or other sales platforms
