This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of ClickHouse. We are currently looking for a Senior Finance Manager - Accounting in the United States.

This role is a senior finance leadership position responsible for managing accounting operations, revenue recognition, tax compliance, and finance process optimization across the organization. The Senior Finance Manager will partner with internal teams and external advisors to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting, while helping to scale and standardize finance systems and tools. This position offers the opportunity to shape financial practices in a fast-growing, cloud-first technology environment, supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate combines deep accounting expertise with creativity, process-oriented thinking, and collaborative problem-solving across global teams.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and operationalize revenue recognition processes compliant with accounting standards, analyzing customer contracts and providing guidance on SKU creation, tax classification, and revenue treatment.
  • Prepare and review complex journal entries, revenue account reconciliations, and oversee monthly close cycles.
  • Build and maintain a finance data warehouse, translating data requirements into logical models for financial reporting and visualization.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness for financial and analytic reporting; conduct audits and support dashboards for executive review.
  • Partner with external tax advisors to prepare U.S. federal, state, and international income tax returns, including quarterly VAT and OSS filings.
  • Monitor, refine, and optimize finance processes across revenue, receivable, and billing operations, including integration support for acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations and adherence to accounting policies.
  • Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with 3+ years in revenue recognition; experience in cloud or infrastructure-based organizations is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in software accounting standards, revenue recognition practices, and ASC 606 compliance.
  • Experience with financial tools such as Netsuite; proficiency in Tableau and Excel/G-Sheets for reporting and dashboards.
  • Detail-oriented, creative, and collaborative, with a growth mindset and resilience in solving complex financial challenges.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and express ownership over financial processes.
  • Experience building and refining finance processes, implementing finance infrastructure, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
