This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Engineer, Cloud & DevOps in the United States.

As a Senior Engineer, Cloud & DevOps, you will be an integral part of a global technology team responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with development teams to drive cloud strategy, modernize applications, and implement best-in-class DevOps practices. This role offers the opportunity to influence architecture, optimize deployment pipelines, and ensure system reliability across a multi-cloud environment. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative, and remote-friendly environment, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation while supporting mission-critical applications and services.

Accountabilities

  • Act as a bridge between Cloud and development teams, aligning technical goals and priorities.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Monitor systems and applications continuously, proactively identifying and resolving performance issues.
  • Build secure, scalable, and highly available solutions following enterprise policies and industry best practices.
  • Advise on opportunities for application modernization, automation, scalability, and resiliency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with evolving technical and business needs.
  • Manage and resolve incidents to minimize downtime and maintain system reliability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of applied experience in DevOps and Cloud engineering practices.
  • Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, particularly Amazon EKS, and containerized workloads.
  • Strong experience with AWS technologies across compute, networking, security, and serverless services; experience with Azure is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and GitOps methodologies; experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, or Atlassian is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Cloud platform management and governance at scale, including multi-cloud, multi-account, multi-region environments.
  • Solid understanding of integrating cloud infrastructure with monitoring, observability, identity, and security tooling.
  • Comfortable working with both Microsoft and Linux operating systems, standard networking concepts, and various database platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation; strong teamwork and customer service mindset.
  • Curious, innovative, and able to apply secure-by-design and well-architected solutions to meet business challenges.
